i floated in the dead sea, i swam in the sea of galilee, i tried to picture Jesus walking on that same water, i looked up at the stars and thought about how Jesus probably did the same, i saw the isaiah scrolls, i left some things on an altar in qumran, i understand the impact of the holocaust on a whole new level, i walked the old city of jerusalem, i walked in the steps of Jesus, i met an orthodox jew who is searching for truth and i believe he is going to find it, i saw the site where the Lord was crucified, i went in His tomb, i saw where He is going to come back, i saw the place where armaggedeon is going to take place, i walked in the field where david killed goliath, i sifted through rubble and ruins of the old Temple to prove it existed, i worshipped the Living God under a full moon and a blanket of stars in the desert, i went to petra in jordan, i saw how a new holocaust is slowly happening to the jewish people, i prayer walked around condeleeza rice’s hotel in hopes she will make the right decisions regarding israel for the usa’s sake, i prayed with beautiful women at the western wall, i got as close to the holy of holies as i could get, i met the most precious man from the golan, i found sea glass and pottery in the mediterranean, i got to spend 2 weeks with friends-old and new, i learned a little hebrew, i got baptized in the jordan, i learned why they call it the red sea, i had confirmation from the Lord, i felt His presence everywhere, i know why He loves israel so much, now i love israel so much, my life will never be the same, i am making plans to go back next year, i can’t wait, ps. 122:6-9

I want to hear all about it (in person!) someday soon. Our church takes a trip to the Holy Lands every other year. I believe they are going in 2009. It would be cool to go someday. You’re blessed to have had the opportunity!
We miss ya!
